  1. Attacker: Step forward and punch low, right hand. Defender: Step back; 45 degrees, right leg (inside the Attacker's punch); block low left hand; punch Attacker middle, right hand.

  2. Attacker: Step forward and punch low, right hand. Defender: Step back; 45 degrees, left leg (outside the Attacker's punch); block low right hand; punch Attacker middle, left hand.

  3. Attacker: Step forward and punch high, right hand. Defender: Step back; straight, right leg; block high left hand; Attacker: punch low; Defender: block by dropping hand and pressing down on punch; punch Attacker middle, right hand.

  4. Attacker: Step forward and punch middle, right hand; Defender: step back with left leg into kiba dachi (horse stance); block middle inside, right arm. Attacker: punch middle, left; Defender: block punch with right elbow; shuffle forward and drive right elbow into ribs/torso; cover Attacker's fist with left hand.

  2. Attacker: Step forward right, and punch middle, right hand. Defender: Step back cat stance, middle block, left hand. Attacker: Step forward and punch middle, left hand. Defender: Step back cat stance, middle block, right hand. Attacker: Front kick, right leg; punch right. Defender: Step back 45 degrees left, low block kick right hand, punch Attacker's ribs, left hand.

  3. Attacker: Step forward right and low punch right; then step left, low punch left; then right again. Defender: Step back left foot into kiba dachi stance, swing block punch; step back kake dachi, right leg behind, swing block punch; step back, kiba dachi, swing block punch; pivot on right foot to bring left foot into attacker, kiba dachi stance, drive elbow into attacker's solar plexus.

  4. Attacker: Step forward and punch high, right hand. Defender: Step back right leg, high block left hand; Defender: Step forward, high punch right; Attacker: Step back right leg, high block left hand; Attacker: Step forward right and punch middle, right hand. Defender: Step outside the punch, kiba dachi, block middle; grab Attacker's arm, crescent kick Attacker's solar plexus; in kiba dachi, shuffle into Attacker, drive elbow into ribs; drive elbow up to dislocate shoulder; roll forward to force Aatacker to bend; as attacker tries to stand, grab shoulder, pull back, and sweep leg to throw attacker to ground; finish by pinning down with knee and striking to face.

  5. Attacker: Step forward and punch middle, right hand. Defender: Step forward into kiba dachi, blocking to outside of punch middle, left arm; palm-heel strike to groin, palm-heel strike to solar plexus; using left hand, sweep attackers arm down and away; grab attacker's arm with left hand, come forward, weight on left leg; sweep attacker's right leg while driving shoulder down; pin down with knee and strike to face.
