Junior Black Belt

A junior black belt is given only to students who show a desire to continue training in the martial arts. It is not a goal, but a beginning. It is assumed that students who continue to Black are looking to make a long-term commitment to studying martial arts. Students will test in front of O’sensei Yamashita, and the Black Belt Leadership team will determine what the individual student will demonstrate for their test.

*Beyond Green Belt students will participate in more karate focused instruction and will be required to internalize instruction right away, so videos and pictures are not available
